Historically, most every culture in the world has recognized the ritual of the blood covenant. It is only in recent civilized history that mankind has become so "educated" that they have reasoned their way out of the significance of the blood covenant.
This book starts with Adam, continues with a journey through the Hebrew Scriptures, and culminates with the Cross of Jesus Christ. It is designed to bring the reader into closer, intimate contact with God.
This journey has the potential for bringing inner healing, true identity, and purpose of life to the reader.
The blood covenant bypasses the intellect and ministers directly to the heart (1 Corinthians 1:18-2:5).

In 1 Corinthians 1:18-2:5 the Apostle Paul said that he would preach only the Cross and that he would not use eloquent words of worldly wisdom. He indicated that that the power was in the Cross, or in the blood of Jesus. His experience in Athens (Acts 17) showed that he was somewhat frustrated with arguing with the intellectuals.
My personal experience, and the experience of some that I know, has been that as we read about the blood covenant, the knowledge bypasses our intellect and goes directly into our hearts. Another way to put it is that the blood covenant revelation is for the right side of our brain and not so much for the left side. The left side of the brain deals more with logic and intellect. The right side of the brain is more about the "heart language, or the creative side."
Adam and Eve chose to eat from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, which I submit was their intellect. The Tree of Life is the Word of God.
I know so many Christians who "know" so much in their heads, but their hearts are lacking the authentic and true relationship with Jesus.
As you read these chapters about The Blood of The Everlasting Covenant, simply allow the stories to soak into your soul. I submit that you will soon obtain a more accurate self- identity in Jesus. You will see yourself as God sees you, a new creation in Him, totally recreated and reborn to a new race, which has dominion over your spiritual enemies. You will see bondages, habits, addictions, depression, oppression, hopelessness and fear, all be displaced by the love of God.
I want to thank my precious wife Carol for her help and encouragement in doing this book.
Carol encouraged me to actually create this book. Originally, these chapters were lessons that we taught in our Bible class at Mount Paran North Church of God. Carol continued to influence me to assemble them into a book.
Thanks to our friends who performed some very detailed proof reading.
Thanks to Mount Paran North Church of God who made it possible for us to bring these lessons to the wonderful group of people in our class.
Thanks to all the people in our Overcomers Bible Class who continually encouraged us to bring these lessons to print, and who are demonstrating in their lives the fruit from studying them.
